Anthony J. Kosciuszko

Anthony J. Kosciuszko, 72, of Neshannock Township died on the morning of September 21, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospice of Heritage Valley.
Anthony was born in New Castle on July 19, 1949, the son of the late William S. and Clara A. Cipriano Kosciuszko.
On August 9, 1975, Anthony married his beloved wife, former Diane R. Tutino. She predeceased him in death on February 11, 2018.
Anthony was a graduate of IUP, received his masters from Slippery Rock University, and received his law degree from Ohio Northern University.
Previously, Anthony had worked at George Washington Junior High School as a history teacher, sharing his love of history with his students.
He had served Lawrence County as an assistant district attorney and also worked in the Office of Public Defenders. Anthony retired in 2004 from his private law practice.
Anthony was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church, where he was an adult servant and Eucharistic minister.
Anthony loved meeting his friends for morning coffee at Dunkin Donuts.
A loving father and brother, Anthony’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Anthony is survived by his son, Jason Kosciuszko of New Castle, three brothers, Stanley M. Kosciuszko, William S. Kosciuszko Jr. and Wayne R. Kosciuszko, all of New Castle, and one sister, Annette Hutchison of Florida.
Visitations will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Ed and Don De Carbo Funeral and Crematorium, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:15 am Tuesday for a Christian funeral mass which will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Joseph McCaffrey, pastor of Holy Spirit parish, will officiate.
Interment will be in the Saint-Laurent cemetery.
