Canadian American Business Council to Host 27th Annual State of the Relationship


In-person and virtual galas celebrate the Canada-U.S. Relationship on November 17, 2021

WASHINGTON, November 17, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Tonight the Canadian American Business Council (CABC) will host its 27e Annual State of the Relationship, a gala celebrating the Canada-U.S. Relationship. The event, which will be streamed live on YouTube, will also include 11 social-distancing face-to-face events in major cities, hosted by the consuls general of both countries.

With nearly three decades of activity, CABC has grown into the premier non-profit, non-partisan, issue-based organization dedicated to promoting dialogue between the public and private sectors. The state of the relationship became the council’s flagship celebration, bringing together more than 70 business leaders, policymakers, diplomats and luminaries to deliver remarks.

The 27e The relationship status will be hosted by Atlantabroadcast journalist based Christine sperow and present a special performance of “Lean on Me” by Canadian artists, Fefe dobson and Tyler shaw. The evening will include the presentation of the CABC’s Corporate Leadership Award, which recognizes contributions to sustainability, job creation and remarkable innovation. In 2020, UPS was recognized for his extraordinary service during the pandemic.

Throughout the live broadcast, viewers will have the opportunity to participate in interactive contests and trivia featuring Canada and American pop culture. With the recent reopening of Canada-American border, bringing together families and friends, the CABC will also offer round-trip business tickets for any Air Canada flight.
