Darren McMullen ‘guest to host’ new Channel 10 dating series The Real Love Boat

Darren McMullen has been tipped to host Channel Ten’s new dating series, The Real Love Boat.

The series, which will see a group of bachelors sail around the Mediterranean on a cruise ship, is set to begin filming this month.

Darren, 40, has been named as the favorite to host the pairing show.

The presenter previously hosted The Voice Australia for four seasons and also appeared on The Masked Singer in 2019.

He currently appears on Channel Nine’s Celebrity Apprentice Australia.

Last month, Darren had a explosive clash with Jarrod Scott on the show.

The duo were tasked with a challenge that involved running a food delivery service with their team.

But Darren was unimpressed with Jarrod’s role as project manager and accused him of being a “narcissist”.

Earlier in the episode, Darren said, “The annoying thing is that because of Jarrod’s narcissism, we’re probably going to be in the meeting room now and we’re going to lose a valuable member of our team. “

He then confronted Jarrod saying, ‘Mate, listen, everything was late, everything got cold. You talked about a big game.

‘You were like, ‘I fucking have this, I have experience in hospitality, you were s*** last week,’ and I’m like, ‘ok come on man’ and I t ‘backed up,’ he said.

Scott replied, “If it’s like that, that’s fine but..”

‘No, actually, it’s not right. Why is it good? I don’t want any of these guys gone, Darren interrupted.

“If you let me explain, if you listen to the project manager and let me explain something to you,” Scott continued.

“Buddy, you just talked up and told other people to shut up,” Darren said.

Scott explained, “My job is to delegate. And that’s what happens in hospitality.

“The annoying thing is that because of Jarrod’s narcissism, we’re probably going to be in the boardroom now and we’re going to lose a valuable member of our team,” Darren said.
