Donegal Fire Service is holding a fire safety lecture for 3rd class pupils… – Donegal Daily


The Donegal Fire Service is hosting a free fire safety lecture for Year 3 pupils tomorrow June 2 via Zoom.

The program helps school children interact with their families and home fire safety features.

It has been running for a few weeks, with over 80 schools joining the Zoom call so far, and will end tomorrow, June 2.

The conference will take place live from Letterkenny Fire Station and there will be fun and learning to be had.

They will cover a range of topics, such as; regular testing of smoke alarms, routine night safety checks, evacuation plans and regular rehearsals, the correct action to take in the event of a fire, the correct procedure for calling the emergency services, “Stop, Drop and Roll ” and a fun quiz!
