The most comprehensive, efficient and cost-effective cloud computing service for any business to date is now offered by Radenta Technologies with Microsoft Microsoft Azure offerings.
In a recent survey of 1,000 companies in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, India and Indonesia show how cloud computing is becoming an integral part of commerce.
Here are the key takeaways from Filipino respondents: 94% of enterprises said cloud-based IT solutions are crucial in coping with the pandemic; 88% said they are now more supportive of using cloud-based IT solutions to grow their business compared to before Covid-19; 51% responded that they had adopted more cloud-based IT solutions in response to the impact of Covid-19; and 80% of IT decision makers believe that Asian vendors are able to offer better cloud solutions.
How does a company start its cloud journey? It’s best to start with pilot projects that align with the common benefits of migrating to the cloud.
Radenta Technologies offers five different ways to use Microsoft Azure:
End of Support Technologies. This could be a great place to start your cloud migration updates, if you have a workload running on a product nearing end of support.
Exit from the data center. If you have a data center contract that is about to expire, it is useful to identify the applications you are running on those servers and use them as a starting point for your cloud migration.
Simple apps with low complexity. Applications that are non-critical and have few dependencies are another smart place to start your migration. You can identify dependencies using dependency analysis in Azure Migrate. It offers tools and services that support the assessment and migration stages of your cloud migration journey, including a cloud migration checklist.
Enable remote workforce. Azure Virtual Desktop is a good pilot for teams to work securely even offsite. It combines the scale, security, and cost advantages of Azure and Microsoft 365 for a secure remote desktop from virtually anywhere.
Development and testing. Azure Virtual Machines or Azure Virtual DevTest Labs are image service instances that provide on-demand and scalable computing resources with usage-based pricing. It behaves like a server and could be likened to a computer within a computer. It helps you achieve efficiency and reduce costs when running your dev/test environment.
“Digital transformation is possible, that’s what we’ve learned over the past two years,” said Michelle Lasam, head of Radenta’s Microsoft business line. “We’ve had 10 years worth of digital growth, in those years when we had to be isolated from each other. We should continue to adopt cloud technology, maybe not as fast but at a pace regular, not only for productivity and efficiency, but also for a smarter environment and a greener community.”
