Keanu Reeves recently spoke about Formula 1 in Viral Fan Encounter

Keanu Reeves’ appearance at the British Grand Prix caught the attention of the press at the time. When Reeves was leaving England to return to the United States, he met a young fan, and details of their encounter had gone viral. The fan had asked Reeves a series of quick questions, with the actor taking the time to answer each one. This included mention of the Grand Prix and Formula 1 races.

“I saw online that you were at the Grand Prix,” the fan said.

“Yes, the Grand Prix. F1! Race cars!” Reeves responded. When asked if he drives, Reeves said: “Not F1, but I like to ride motorbikes.”

Meanwhile, Formula 1 will also soon be making its way to the big screen for a separate project. It has been reported that Brad Pitt is producing a Formula 1 racing film which will be directed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. This movie could end up being a box office heavy hitter if Kosinski’s work on maverick is an indication. Kosinski teased that the Formula 1 film will also have plenty of action without CGI, presumably with cameras attached to real F1 racing cars.

“But definitely seeing people react to a movie behind closed doors, authentically captured like Superior gun makes us all feel good that our approach works and is appreciated by the public. It’s almost funny to me to see people who are so enamored with real photography,” Kosinski told The Wrap. “Young people almost haven’t seen a lot of it. They’re so used to CGI [computer-generated images] being a great movies tool that when you shoot something for real, it looks innovative. This is exactly the approach of Formula 1… shooting real races and real cars and capturing them. It will be a huge challenge, but exciting for me.”
