LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Wildcats, along with a new No.8 ranking in United’s latest Top 25 Football Coaches, will host Lipscomb on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET at the Wendell & Vickie Bell Soccer Complex.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN + with Dave “Buzz” Baker on call.
Kentucky enter the non-conference midweek game with an unbeaten record of 7-0-2 (1-0-2 Conference USA). The Wildcats claimed their first league victory last Sunday with a decisive 3-0 victory over UAB coming back from a two-game road streak.
Lipscomb arrives Wednesday with a 6-2-2 (2-1 ASUN Conference) record, unranked over the past two weeks after peaking at No.18. The Bisons beat ASUN’s foe Liberty 3-2 last Saturday, ending two games. losing skid.
Lipscomb’s latest visit to Lexington will mark the fourth in school history, as well as the fifth overall reunion of the two programs since 2016. The teams met twice in 2018, with Kentucky after a 3-2 victory in overtime in Nashville, TN during the regular season with a 2-1 home victory in the third round of the NCAA Championship. The Cats lead the all-time series 2-1-1.
