Neutral Human recruits Christian Dickens as co-director

Technical business development specialist Neutral Human (NH) has appointed Christian Dickens as co-director.

Dickens has worked in the entertainment technology industry for 26 years, specializing in video technology for concert tours, theatre, film and television.

He worked with NH founder Sarah Cox at the media server manufacturer, where he was responsible for support and she was EMEA sales manager.

“At Disguise, Christian and I have developed many successful strategies for integrating and managing customer adoption of complex software and hardware technologies as the business grows,” said Cox. . “We both understand what the other does and where our strengths lie. Between us, we seem to create the perfect transfer in the customer journey from discovery to purchase to onboarding.

Dickens said, “Working in a number of areas has helped me develop an understanding of what people want and need to drive technology forward. Sarah’s skills and mine complement each other and will therefore allow NH to extend its services and solutions to companies wishing to grow within the entertainment community.

NH has been encouraged by the additions to its network of technology partners and the industry support it has received since its inception in March.

“It’s clear that NH has hit a black spot in the market,” Cox added. “This industry is a melting pot of inventors and innovators, and now is the perfect time to build a business focused on helping technologies expand their sales networks, customer reach and go-to-market strategies. .”

NH focuses on technology partnerships and consulting for service companies entering “new” markets such as virtual production and immersive experiences.

“Some of what we do is not marketable because we strategically sit in the background, but our technology partners, such as Stage Precision and SmartStage, are much more visible,” Cox said.

“We are attracted – and seem to be attracted – to powerful and complex software and hardware solutions for media and real-time technologies. These are not easy brands to sell; products evolve rapidly by constantly developing new features and workflows, as do the applications and solutions that end users need. It was only a matter of time before NH needed another technical mind on board – and Christian is the perfect answer to our own expansion.
