NTT strengthens its alliance with Microsoft

NTT Ltd, a global leader in technology and business solutions, is strengthening its alliance with Microsoft to provide enterprise telephony and connectivity to strengthen the hybrid work environment. Microsoft chose NTT to be one of the launch partners for its Operator Connect team. Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams simplifies business communications by providing calling functionality over the public switched telephone network (PSTN).

To date, Operator Connect provides carrier-grade telephone and support services in 39 countries. It offers additional and added features such as compliance recording, call queue, video interoperability and dynamic E119. NTT’s exceptional support and managed services provide end-to-end lifecycle support to their customers and customers. This paves the way for its customers to integrate holistic solutions across business functions for a better customer experience and increased productivity.

This latest development is another key step in the strategic business alliance between NTT and Microsoft. In 2019, the two global giants came together to commit to creating the next generation of managed services to improve the customer and employee experience. This was to be achieved through managed services designed for Microsoft 365, Viva, and Azure Communication Services.
