Sheffield Sports is hosting an event for all to enjoy this bank holiday

Successful Armed Forces and Community Day is held in Sheffield

There will be a superhero-themed costume contest for children.

Military vehicles on display at Frechville Fun Day.

The Coldstream Guard Association will be in attendance as well as members of The Coldstream Guards 7 Company from their Wellington base in London.

Some will be dressed in full ceremonial attire, including a bearskin headdress.

A fire engine will be exhibited with other military vehicles.

Corps of drums and flutes

Musical entertainment will be provided by the South Yorkshire Pipe Band and The Corps of Drums.

A raffle and auction will also take place with great prizes including donations from Sheffield sports teams.

Advisors from the Labor Party and the Green Party will also be present to answer your questions.

In the evening, starting at 7:30 p.m., there will be live music from singer Donna Bell, who will sing songs from the 1940s to the present day.

Matt Thompson, President of Frechville Sports Club, said, “Thank you Melanie Watkinson and the event team for all the hard work you put in to make this event happen.

“It will be great to have an event with no restrictions for families from all over Sheffield to come and enjoy.”
