Spay Illinois to host pet clinic March 13 in Lisle


On Sunday, March 13, Spay Illinois will host a free pet vaccine and microchip clinic for all Illinois residents who receive Link benefits (food stamps).

It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Spay Illinois Pet Well Clinic, 2765 Maple Ave. in Lisle.

Services will include rabies shots, distemper combos and microchipping for dogs and cats. County rabies labels must be purchased at the time of service for all rabies vaccines.

County tag prices range from $16 to $91 depending on whether the animal is neutered or intact and whether a one-year or three-year rabies vaccine is administered.

The clinic will be open to all Illinois residents who receive Link benefits. A Link card and ID are required to attend the clinic. The clinic is by appointment only.
