The Foundation will host Nonprofit Day



Keys charity professionals will gather on Tuesday, September 13 for Florida Keys Nonprofit

Day. The event, which will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Marathon Community Theater, is free to paid staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations, students, and community members interested in nonprofit service. .

The afternoon will include a training session presented by John Riley, CFRE, Vice President of Philanthropy at Naples-based United Way of Collier and the Keys, who will share “10 Tips for Donor Relations.” Professional development expert Janelle Abela, who came from Canada to address the group, will explain how local nonprofits can maximize their success using inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility.

A networking reception is sponsored by the First State Bank of the Florida Keys.
