VOLLEYBALL WILL HOST PURDUE FORT WAYNE FOR ALUMNI NIGHT

INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI volleyball team will once again welcome seven former Jags to the stands as they take on the Mastodons of Purdue Fort Wayne at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 24. Alumni will be recognized between the second and third series.

IUPUI is coming off a 3-0 loss to Green Bay at home last Tuesday. Millai Madison and Allis Pogue led the attack with 11 kills each. Madison hit 0.476% with 11 kills while Pogue finished with 0.229% and 11 kills. Darragh Dixon collected 15 assists and an ace of service while Brooke Phillips collected 11 excavations.

Purdue Fort Wayne is 4-8 overall and lost to Milwaukee 3-0 in its home conference opener on Tuesday. Iris Riegal hit .500 on 28 attempts with 18 kills while Maggie Castleman had 10 kills, hitting .400 overall.

The Jags are 22-29 in the all-time series against the Mastodons, falling in the last game on Nov. 12, 2021, 1-3. The 4 p.m. game will not be broadcast, but live stats are available at iupuijags.com.

IUPUI will recognize the seven alumni present, Michelle Coleman, Kortni Garganus Wright, McKayla Wright, Kaitlyn Johnson, Haley Hoffman, Bekah OBrien and Shakana Norfleet between the second and third set.
